The challenge
Heavy, top-loaded cases and shrink packs that must arrive upright, clean and undamaged.
Bottled drinks, canned goods and packaged food are heavy for their size and often stacked high, so the pallet load must resist both sideways movement and crushing. Stretch film holds the layers together, edge boards add stacking strength at the corners, and strap ties the layers down: PP for lighter loads, PET for heavy ones. These are transit (outer) packaging materials, not food-contact packaging.

What we recommend

Common questions
Are these materials food-safe?
Stretch film, strapping, edge boards and tape here are used on the outside of cases and pallets, not in contact with food. If you need food-contact packaging or a specific declaration, ask our sales team before ordering.
Why do edge boards help with stacking?
Cartons carry most of their load at the corners. Vertical edge boards add strength exactly there and spread the pressure from strapping or the pallet above.
