Description
PET strapping is a polyester packing strap used for bundling heavy loads. It is imported from Malaysia and serves as a replacement for steel strapping in many applications.
It holds tension over long periods, has no sharp edges and does not scratch, chip or oxidise the goods it secures. Sizes range from 9.2 × 0.63 mm to 19 × 1.0 mm; rolls weigh 21–22 kg on 406 mm or 200 mm paper cores, in plain or check finishes and various colours.
Typical uses: aluminium billets, glass, ceramics, plywood, stone, marble, brick, paper, cotton and fibre bales, garment bales, steel sheet and steel pipe.
